PSV Certification – Subproduct
The Plastic Second Life label has the important mission of promoting and communicating recycled content to highlight the great potential of plastics in realizing the circular economy.
CONCRETELY GREEN
Combining the maximum technical and aesthetic result of a heel with the current requirements of eco-sustainability , has been yet another challenge taken up with enthusiasm and rigor by the management that , in the right time and manner, has filtered the various technologies and solutions proposed by the market by fine-tuning and capitalizing on its “green” policy precisely during these last few years.
IPPR
Institute for the Promotion of Recycling Plastics
Sustainability is a matter of choices.
A more sustainable world is achieved with one right choice after another.
Concretely green
We can supply injection-molded heels and underlays, made of PS, ABS or TPU, with well-defined % of recycled polymer inside, certified Second Life Plastic from by-product.
We valorize what would be pure physiological plastic waste from the process, avoiding dispersal as industrial waste, by designing and testing the insertion of the latter in partial part into virgin polymer.
The accreditation body is KIWA on behalf of IPPR, and PSV certification is recognized at the European level.
Actions aimed at the environment and quality of work.
Investments aimed at energy efficiency have been many:
- The installation of a 100Kw photovoltaic system that allows the entire plant to be powered without drawing from the conventional grid, making it electrically autonomous and with a very low C02 impact.
- “Full electric” processing machinery that combines absorption efficiency with less maintenance, disposal of waste oil and consumables.
- Closed-loop control of mains water for conditioning of machinery and equipment.
- Hybrid company cars.
- A proprietary green lung that, in addition to beautifying and giving a sense of strong closeness and sensitivity to nature, allows for ample areas of shade and enviable oxygenation in these increasingly dark and gray industrial zones typical of our times.
